Friends of Our Lady of Peace
Friends of OLOP is made up of a fantastic group of parents, carers and staff whose aim is to enhance and enrich the school experience of all pupils.
We organise exciting and fun events as well as supporting the school by contributing towards the cost of extra equipment and resources.
We strongly believe it is not just what the fundraising pays for that matters, but also the sense of community these events help to build and the memories they create for our children during their time at Our Lady of Peace School.
As parents, carers and staff we are all automatically members of Friends of OLOP and any help we receive makes a big difference. Please don't be put off if you are not able to regularly attend meetings.
We hold events such as selling doughnuts in the playground for half an hour once every half term or helping on a stall for a couple of hours during the Summer Fair, your help would mean we can continue to deliver these events and activities.
We are currently raising funds to contribute towards a new picnic area in the Lower Key Stage playground and liaising with the School Council for their suggestions of what the children would like to see the Friends of OLOP provide and what would make a difference.
We are so excited to hear what ideas they come up with!
The children have been excited by the purchase of new playground games and equipment to use at lunchtime.
